Apply to Pharmacy School
Applying to pharmacy school is the first step to your exciting future in pharmacy. Before you dive into your application, ensure you have all the information you need. You can find a detailed applicant checklist on the PharmCAS website.
A bachelor’s degree is not required for admission into the Pharmacy program at UHSP, but you must have completed all required prerequisite courses to be eligible.
Apply Through PharmCAS.
Professional applicants must apply through the Pharmacy College Application Service (PharmCAS). The application opens on Aug. 1 for the 2023-24 application. Visit the PharmCAS website for updated deadlines and details.
Submit Official Transcripts and Supplemental Materials .
The PharmCAS application requires official transcripts and references, so plan to have these ready when you apply.
Applicants will need to submit additional forms, including the Statement of Commitment and Technical Standards.
International Student Applicants
Students residing outside the United States who are applying for admission to the pharmacy program have additional steps to complete in the application process.
- Request a World Education Services (WES) course-by-course transcript evaluation.
- Submit TOEFL scores, if English is not your primary language.
I’ve Been Admitted to UHSP, Now What?
Once you’ve been admitted to the University, you will be assigned additional tasks in your New Student Portal to complete your enrollment, including:
- Submit Your Deposit
- Complete Your FAFSA
- Activate Your University Email
- Apply for Parking (optional) and/or Housing (optional)*
- Purchase Your Course Materials and Order Your White Coat
- Register For and Attend Orientation
- Submit Required Immunizations and Health Screenings
