Undergraduate Admissions Requirements
UHSP requires the completion of a high school diploma (or equivalent) prior to enrollment for all incoming students.
Guaranteed Undergraduate Admission
Incoming, first-time students are eligible for guaranteed admission into an undergraduate program if they have equal to or greater than a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Additional Admissions Considerations
Students with a cumulative GPA below a 3.0 are still encouraged to apply, but additional materials may be requested to enhance your application. These include items such as:
• Updated transcripts
• A personal statement
• ACT/SAT scores (optional)
• Letters of recommendation
Should these materials be needed, your admissions representative will be in touch to guide you through submission and next steps.
Along with any supplemental materials provided, we will conduct a comprehensive review of your application and transcripts (official or unofficial) that considers the rigor of high school curriculum and core course (math and science) GPA.

Undergraduate Admissions Process
We can’t wait to welcome you to UHSP for this exciting chapter of your life. Check out our step-by-step guide to the undergraduate admissions process.
Step 1: Apply to uhsp
Completing an application is your first step to getting into college. At UHSP, you may apply directly through our internal undergraduate application or by listing University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis on your Common App.
Step 2: submit transcripts
In order to review your application, your most recent high school transcripts must also be provided. Ask your guidance counselor to send your transcript, including all coursework through at least your junior year, to the University.
For application review, an unofficial transcript is acceptable. However, official transcripts are required prior to finalizing your enrollment.
Step 3: Submit Supplemental Materials as Needed
Throughout the review process, supplemental items may be requested to support your application. This may include items such as updated transcripts, ACT/SAT test scores, a personal statement and letters of recommendation.
Should these items be needed, your admissions representative will be in touch to guide you through the process of submitting them.
step 4: Submit Deposit and Complete Your Checklist*
Once admitted, take a moment to celebrate! The first step after you’ve been admitted to UHSP is to save your seat by submitting your deposit and intent to enroll form.
Once complete, several checklist items will become available in your UHSP portal throughout the year. Be sure to regularly log into your portal to access and complete your enrollment tasks, which include applying for housing, completing the math placement assessment, registering for parking and more.
* If you applied through the Common App, you will need to set up your UHSP Portal. This will provide you with ongoing access to complete enrollment steps. Instructions on how to set this up will be sent via email.
