Am I Eligible? Will My Credits Transfer?

You’ve put in hard work to get where you are, and we don’t want to see that go to waste.

Transfer admission to UHSP is conducted on a holistic basis, so we consider you as a whole student not just a test score.

UHSP accepts credits earned at accredited higher education institutions, so you don’t have to repeat or take a step backwards.

Even if you aren’t ready to apply, we can provide an evaluation of your unofficial transcripts to help you determine what credits will transfer.

As a transfer student, UHSP has challenged me to apply myself more to my academics. UHSP provides all the resources a student needs to succeed, from experienced professors to workshops and events around campus. Thank you UHSP for such an extraordinary experience.

UNDERGRADUATE TRANSFER STUDENT
I actually transferred in as an undergraduate sophomore, so I came in not knowing anybody and had to get used to how things were done. That was very unique. I was coming to a smaller campus; my previous school was much larger. At UHSP, you don’t feel like just a number. I made lots of friends that first year and really got into a good friend group. We’re very close, and one of my best friends now is from the University.
