The University offers services to help you achieve your greatest potential–academically, personally and professionally. Whether you need help with an essay or advice on which classes to take, we are here to help you find success and reach your goals.

Academic Advising

Our advising program is designed to meet your needs at the different stages of your academic career. You will be matched with a professional academic adviser who will get to know you personally to help you define, plan and achieve your educational and personal goals.

Accessibility Services

The Access Office provides accommodations and services to students who need academic and personal support, promoting a campus community that provides its students with equal access to education, student organizations and campus life activities. The office is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, as amended.

Housing Accommodations (meal plan waiver, emotional support animal, ADA accessible housing, single room housing)

Note: This is not an extensive list, and all accommodation requests must go through the interactive process and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Tutoring Services

Peer tutors provide students with additional academic support formats at no cost.

WEEKLY REVIEW AND GROUP TUTORING

Students registered for specific courses may attend any weekly group session offered.

SMALL-GROUP TUTORING

Students enrolled in specific courses may register for a small group session. Group members meet weekly with a tutor to review course information. Groups are limited to seven students per group.

PRIVATE TUTORING

Instructors or tutors may refer students to private tutoring services. Sessions are determined on an individual basis.

Career Services

The Center for Career Services and Education provides students and alumni of the University with services that help you explore your career, build your personal brand and make connections. Whether you are a current student exploring future options, a recent graduate entering the job market or even an experienced alumnus looking to refresh your skills or change careers, the center is here to help you throughout your career.

Academic Coaching

Each student has different needs and possesses their own set of strengths and areas of growth. Our dedicated support staff instills confidence and empowers you to be your best self. With support from our academic coaching team, students learn to improve study habits, time management skills and test-taking strategies or learn to manage stress more effectively.

The STRIVE Program provides a personalized, high-touch academic support experience as students establish and reach successful semester outcomes. STRIVE students receive individual and group support, assessments of the student’s strengths and opportunities for growth, and develop a personalized plan of success.
