Three Paths to Your Pharm.D.
Whether you’re a first-year undergrad on a fast track to a professional degree, you want to integrate a bachelor’s with your Pharm.D., or you’ve completed your prerequisites and are applying directly to our pharmacy program, there is a pharmacy path for you.

If you complete your prerequisite coursework at another institution, you may apply for direct admission to our Pharm.D. program.

Integrated B.S. and Pharm.D.
Complete your B.S. and Pharm.D. in less time. In this program, your first professional year fulfills your senior-year requirements, saving you a full year of study and tuition.
Pre-Pharmacy Coursework
Pre-pharmacy coursework at UHSP prepares you with the necessary prerequisites before applying for entry into the Pharm.D. program.
Pharm.D. Curriculum
As challenging as it is rewarding, the Pharm.D. program at UHSP’s St. Louis College of Pharmacy provides a rigorous learning environment where you can explore career options, build clinical expertise and become a confident leader in your field and your community.
Committed to achieving positive health outcomes for all patients, our Pharm.D. curriculum will prepare you to provide interprofessional, evidence-based, patient-centered care in any practice setting. You will complete 130 hours of required coursework as well as 12 semester hours of elective or selective coursework. Covering subjects such as clinical services, community care, public health and research, our Elective Focus Areas allow you to explore pharmacy-related topics in greater depth.
Pharm.D. Admission
Students seeking admission to our professional (Pharm.D.) program must apply to UHSP via the central pharmacy application system, PharmCAS (pharmcas.org). To be eligible, students must be in good standing with all previously attended institutions and must have successfully completed all prerequisite coursework.
